Our School

Established in 1982, Our Own English High School, Sharjah provides high quality education to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our sprawling campus set on seven acres land is complemented by excellent facilities and resources allowing us to strive towards high standards and academic excellence.

The school has a rich and diverse mix of students that promotes multi-cultural understanding and emphasises both social and moral development.

Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, the school prepares students for the All India Secondary School Examination, conducted by the Board at Grade 10 and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination, conducted by the Board at Grade 12.

We have attained unprecedented heights in the field of education over the last few years and the immense strides made at every level has elevated this school into a new paradigm of quality, academic prowess and success.

There has been a steady growth in the number of enrolments each year. Today, with a strength of almost 7800 students, we are the largest school in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates. This is indicative of the trust and confidence that the parents have in the management and the teachers of the school.

The school continuously produces excellent results, both at the Secondary and Senior Secondary levels examinations conducted by the C.B.S.E, with many of our students earning top national positions in exam results.

Year after year, a large percentage of passing our students have secured admissions in a variety of prestigious institutions, both in India and abroad.
