Age Placement Guide
Our Own English High School - Sharjah admits students according to the Ministry of Education and Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) regulations as well as the GEMS admissions policies.
A student is admitted in KG 1 if he/she completes four years of age before the 31st of July of the year in which they have been admitted.
A student is admitted in KG 2 if he/she completes five years of age before the 31st of July of the year in which they have been admitted.
A student is admitted in Grade 1 if he/she has completed six years of age and does not exceed the age of eight by the 31st of July of the year in which they have been admitted.
