World Book Day
‘Do Something Bookie’
The World Book Day is celebrated on 23rd April, to promote the enjoyment of books and reading. It aims to encourage children and adults to read more books and to discover about books & the authors. At OOS, students celebrated the day by actively participating in various activities. Students of Grades 10 shared their views on World Book Day and its significance through a speech. Another group of students researched on William Shakespeare, - the great English poet, playwright, and dramatist. They shared the researched information with their peers through a power point presentation. Students of Grade 9 were involved in composing a story with the help of given clues, they also designed a cover page for their story.
