To Shrija, ‘Our Own’ will always be more than just an educational institution. The school has moulded her not only academically but also in being a leader. By participating in the multiple extracurricular activities and being an active member of the student leadership body for over six years she has been able to develop skills such as communication, teamwork, decision-making, problem-solving, and time-management. Shrija can't help but reflect how this school has instilled in her a sense of responsibility to give back to the community. She has been inspired by the many teachers and fellow students who have shown her what it means to be a serving leader, to put the needs of others before oneself, and to strive for excellence in all that one does. She is eager to continue leading and serving the school in the role of Captain of Neptune House, relying on honesty and integrity as it is no secret that truth always triumphs!
