7th March 2019
Pleasant breezy winter mornings are the right time to relax with a book. The kindergarteners at OOS did just that on the 7th of March, 2019, as the KG2 students carried their favourite story books to the Astro turf area and read out the story to their KG1 buddies. The mass reading session of over 1500 students was one of its kind, the largest in the school so far.
It was a pleasure to see the KG2s clarifying the doubts of the KG1students during the narration. The KG1 students enjoyed being read out to, by a buddy, just a year older than them. They freely interacted with each other and participated in general conversation after the narration of the story. The attitude of tolerance, patience and friendliness towards each other was visible among the students.
