Tarannum Ahmed

With a Master’s degree in Social Work (Specialization in HR) from one of the most prestigious Universities India, and with a strong work experience in Administration, Sales and Human Resources departments, Tarannum has been working as the Registrar with GEMS EDUCATION for more than 12 years. She handled the Our Own Boys’ Branch along with the Main Campus and was responsible for both the schools even after Boys’ Branch moving to the new premises. Tarannum also launched the GEMS Millennium School Sharjah and handled the responsibilities for all 3 schools in Sharjah for almost 3 years. Extremely passionate about her job and being the 1^st point of contact for parents, she claims that bringing a smile on children’s as well as parents’ faces gives her the ultimate high and happiness. Prior to joining the GEMS group of Schools, she has worked with XEROX in India.

With exceptional oratory skills in Urdu, Hindi and English, she has been involved in dramatics, theatre, debating, quiz and various cultural and literary contests at School, College and University levels and continues to curate literary programs and host talk shows with celebrities from the Indian sub-continent. She takes keen interest in cultural and literary activities being organized at OOS and never shies away from giving her inputs!
