The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by Union Government of India.
The school follows the CBSE curriculum from Grades 1 to 12. The CBSE curriculum is designed and developed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi which ensures quality education to all its students The NCERT guide lines form the backbone of the curriculum from Grades 9 to 12. It prepares students for the All India Secondary School Examination AISSCE (at the end of Grade 10) and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (at the end of Grade 12).
After the successful completion of the AISSCE students are eligible for admission to universities and colleges of higher education in India and across the globe. Our Own English High School, Sharjah was awarded the 'Generation Global Bronze Award' in 2015 - 2016 and once again was privileged to receive the 'Generation Global Gold Award' 2017 - 2018 for equipping the next generation to embrace an open-minded approach to others through diversity and difference.
