Farzana Shaikh

Farzana Shaikh believes in the philosophy of 'happy life-long learning'. In order to provide her students with the latest techniques in learning, she ensures to keep herself abreast with the methodologies and teaching strategies.
She joined the OOS in 2019 and has a strong track record of outstanding lessons conducted. She is an innovative, resourceful and result-oriented professional who strives to develop a culture of excellence. She helps students be confident, expressive and articulate writers; her vibrant and enthusiastic classes are a testimony to the excellent teaching. Farzana was the recipient of the Gems Teacher award in April 2021.
With a rich experience in elocution, drama and quizzing, she has scripted and directed the Annual Day Drama, has hosted the Look Who’s Answering quizz in school for parents, Moderator for the Senior school debate, teacher in-charge of the school magazine- Strides. As the Head of the department, she endeavors to upscale the overall teaching standard and thus partner with the vision of the school.
