Shafeek Basheer
Head of Department - Physical Education(Primary School)
With over 15 years of experience in education, Shafeek brings a wealth of expertise and passion to his role as Head of Physical Education. Having worked in schools across both the UAE and India, he has built a distinguished career in coaching and sports leadership.
Shafeek has represented India as a coach at the Special Olympics World Summer Games 2011 in Athens, Greece. He was awarded UAE’s Best Coach (3rd place) at the UAE Teen Sports and Fitness Awards in 2018. His teams have consistently excelled in Athletics, Kho-Kho, and Kabaddi, winning UAE Cluster Competitions and competing at National Championships.
Certified as an International Technical Official by the International Kho Kho Federation and holding a Level 1 Umpiring Certification from the Emirates Cricket Board, Shafeek brings expertise across various sports disciplines. He has coached teams to attain the title ‘ Defending Champions of Kho-Kho' in the UAE for seven consecutive years.
