Naseeha Valapra

Student Counsellor

Naseeha Valapra is a licensed professional with the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD), with extensive expertise in inclusive education and in empowering children with autism, intellectual disability and diverse learning needs. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Calicut and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from India’s premier institution, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.

With a strong foundation in academic excellence and a deep commitment as an inclusive advocate for students of determination, Ms. Naseeha has over seven years of professional experience working in CBSE schools and special education centres in Sharjah. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated effectiveness in addressing the diverse and complex needs of children of determination.

With a keen interest in mental health research, Ms. Naseeha has co-authored the research paper “International Field Practicum: The Role of Special Needs Centres in Effective Mental Health Training,” published in the PRAXIS International Conference proceedings.
