The more social media we have, the more we connect, yet we disconnect from each other.

The first-ever Inter-school Debate Competition for the students of the Primary was held in Our Own English High School -Sharjah on the 12^th of June, 2023. The participants articulated their thoughts with great poise, composure and passion on the topic – ‘Social media kills family time.’ 

The Best Speaker for the motion was awarded to Anirudh Ganesh of Our Own English High School-Boys. the Best Speaker against the motion was ZAYBA BINT SHABEER of Our Own English High School – Girls

The Runner-up prize for Best Speaker for the motion was bagged by Haya Abdul Rasheed of Own English High School-Dubai. Uzair Hussian Shaik of Our Own English High School - Boys was declared the Runner-up Best Speaker against the motion

The trophy for the Best Team was secured by Anirudh Ganesh and Uzair Hussian Shaik of Our Own English High School-Boys.

The students of Our Own English High School-Dubai, Haya Abdul Rasheed and Anushka Rajesh Nair made it to the Runner-up position as a team.
