Celebrating Excellence in Every Note!

Our Own English High School, Sharjah – Girls proudly celebrated Annual Prize Day 2026 on the 24th and 25th of June, honouring the remarkable achievements of students across Grades 6 to 12.

The celebration was further elevated by the presence of distinguished guests from diverse professional fields. On 24 June, the school had the honour of welcoming Dr. Arif Khan, Founder and CEO of Neuropedia Children’s Neuroscience Centers; Ms. Meeta Gupta, Financial Life Coach and Founder of Moolah For Women; Mr. Nauman Ali Khan, Chief Risk and Assurance Officer, GEMS Education; and Dr. Mirrah Agha Kandil, Group Medical Director, GEMS Education.

On 25 June, the event was graced by Ms. Manjusha Radhakrishnan, Entertainment, Lifestyle and Sports Editor; Dr. Nishi Singh, renowned medical professional and Mr. Michael Guzder, Executive Vice President, GEMS Education. Their presence added immense prestige to the occasion as they felicitated the achievers and shared inspiring words of encouragement with students, staff, and parents.

From celebrating CBSE board toppers, subject scholars, and middle and senior school achievers to recognising the dedication of our teaching, administrative, and support staff through the OOS Awards, the occasion showcased the spirit of excellence that defines OOS.

Adding colour and energy to the celebrations were uplifting choir performances of What It Sounds Like and Don’t Stop Me Now, along with a vibrant dance medley inspired by the music of Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars. Together, these performances reflected the themes of unity, confidence, creativity, and perseverance that lie at the heart of every OOS success story.

A fitting tribute to hard work, resilience, and achievement, APD 2026 was a celebration of dreams realised, talents nurtured, and futures inspired.
