CBSE UAE Cluster Chess Tournament 2026–27
Our Own English High School – Girls, Sharjah proudly participated in the CBSE UAE Cluster Chess Tournament 2026–27, held on 16 June 2026 at Delhi Private School, Sharjah. The tournament brought together talented young chess players from over 40 Indian schools across the UAE.
Our team of 20 students demonstrated exceptional strategic thinking, perseverance, and sportsmanship, achieving remarkable results across all age categories:
- Under-14 Girls – Champions (1st Place)
- Under-17 Girls – Runners-up (2nd Place)
- Under-19 Girls – Runners-up (2nd Place)
- Under-11 Girls – 4th Place
Adding to this outstanding achievement, the school was awarded the Overall Championship Trophy (Girls’ Category), a testament to the dedication, skill, and teamwork displayed by our students throughout the competition.
We are also delighted to announce that our Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 teams have qualified for the CBSE Chess National Championship, which will be held from 16–20 October 2026 at LA Blossoms School, Punjab, India.
We congratulate all our participants and coaches on this exceptional accomplishment and wish our qualifying teams continued success at the national level.
