The young and eloquent speakers from the ruling and the opposition party debated with great poise, composure and gusto on the topic ‘Social Media Impedes or Improves Communication’ during the second session of the Junior School Parliament held on 25th January 2023.’. The highlight of the event was the rebuttal round, as a volley of questions were answered confidently by both sides, inviting counter questions which were aptly answered by the witty and vivacious speakers. The speaker of the session was Ms. Reshmi Pillai, Supervisor Grades 9&10. The speaker concluded the session by saying that social media must be used in a responsible and mindful way such that it improves effective communication rather than impedes it.
