Crafting Solutions- The AURA Effect

The Inclusion Department at Our Own English High School, Sharjah (Girls), proudly hosted a heartwarming event celebrating Awareness, Understanding, Respect, and Acceptance.

This collaborative initiative brought together students of determination, parents, and learning support assistants to creatively express Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through art and craft — using recycled materials and powerful messages around wellbeing, climate action, and more.

Highlights:

• SDG-themed crafts on topics like Climate Action, Life Below Water, and Wellbeing

• Heartwarming teamwork between students, parents & staff

• Inspiring presence of  Dr. Mokhtar Bourchak from SPEA, who praised the school’s inclusive vision

Parents shared heartfelt pride in their children’s confident participation and the inclusive spirit that defines OOS.

Together, we celebrated diversity, nurtured creativity, and deepened our commitment to inclusion.
