Our Own English High School, Sharjah – Girls, celebrated OWNEX 2025 on Wednesday, 12th November 2025, bringing to life this year’s theme, “Aurivion – Integrated Learning, Enlightened Living!” The day honoured our belief that families are vital partners in every child’s learning journey, with students placed firmly at the heart of a shared mission to inspire curiosity, creativity, and purpose.

The campus of Our Own English High School, Sharjah (Girls) came alive on Saturday, 25th October 2025, as the school hosted its much-awaited Family First Carnival — a vibrant celebration of togetherness, creativity and community spirit.

Students and staff gathered in the school AstroTurf to honor UAE Flag Day on November 3rd, 2025, beginning with a heartfelt prayer for our beloved nation and its visionary leaders.

As part of Common Sense Media’s Digital Citizenship Week (October 20–24), our school celebrated the theme “Kids’ Well-Being in a World of AI” through fun and engaging activities that promoted digital awareness, online safety, and responsible use of AI tools.

GEMS Our Own English High School, Sharjah Girls proudly hosted its maiden TEDxOOEHSGirls Sharjah Youth event, themed “The Invisible Narrators – How Everyday Objects Tell Stories of Our Lives.”

We are proud to share the remarkable success of our teams at the CBSE UAE Cluster Handball Tournament 2025–26, hosted by Delhi Private School, Ajman, on 31st May and 1st June 2025!
Our school proudly participated in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories, competing with dedication and determination alongside 12 other top schools from across the UAE.

We are thrilled to announce the outstanding performance of Our Own English High School, Sharjah(Girls) at the CBSE UAE Cluster Judo Championship, held on 13th June 2025 at Credence High School, Dubai, with participation from 27 schools across the region.

CBSE Cluster Khokho Tournament
Hosted at Our Own English High School, Sharjah (Girls), the CBSE UAE Cluster Kho-Kho Tournament 2025 was a two-day celebration of speed, strategy, and sportsmanship, with 700 athletes from 30 CBSE schools competing across Under-14, 17, and 19 categories.
