'Innorite 2025: Where Legends Unfold, AI Ignites, and Poetry Reigns'

Our Own English High School, Sharjah (Girls) proudly hosted Innorite 2025 on 22nd April 2025, bringing together passionate young poets and storytellers from leading schools across the UAE. This year’s theme, ‘Ballads of AI’, invited students to explore the intersection of human creativity and artificial intelligence, producing compelling poetry and stunning AI-generated visuals.

The event began with a warm welcome, a creative writing workshop by acclaimed writer and editor Mr. Suhail Rasheed, and a three-round competition that tested the students’ writing, adaptation, and performance skills. The highlight of the day was the Poetry Slam Showdown, where participants performed their refined ballads with dramatic flair.

The distinguished panel of judges included Mr. Suhail Rasheed, Ms. Anu Bafna and Ms. Rashmi Kotriwala, who praised the originality, emotion, and innovative use of AI tools.

Our Own English High School, Sharjah (Boys) emerged as the overall Winners of the competition. Innorite 2025 was a celebration of voice, vision, and verse — where poetry met progress and imagination knew no bounds. Here’s to the next generation of digital poets and storytellers!
